About the owner
Christa has always enjoyed being active. Growing up she played many sports and enjoyed taking dance classes. From there, she found Pilates and received her first certification through the Pilates Method Alliance in 2014. Her love of fitness and working with others grew even more as she started to gain clients at the studio and she decided to work toward her personal training certification, which she received in 2015. Seeing her clients improve in their health, fitness, and confidence was extremely rewarding to Christa. Christa continued working with clients while earning her degree in Applied Science in order to become a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, which she completed in 2020. Her background in Physical Therapy has helped tremendously with helping modify exercises and improving clients who experience aches and pains.
In her free time, she enjoys taking her 2 dogs on adventures, camping, trying new foods in the Hudson Valley, and fostering dogs & puppies in need. Christa offers not-for-profit pop up classes in which all proceeds go to animal shelters in need. 9E also donates to local animal shelters throughout the year.
Passion Beyond Fitness
We believe fitness should fuel more than just your body — it should fuel good in the world. That's why we proudly give back to animal shelters, helping rescue dogs and other animals who are too often misunderstood. Because kindness matters! All animals deserve a shot at the happy life they were born for.
